About BL
The Balance Living Women's Conference (BL) is a vibrant, three-day, faith-driven gathering designed to empower women across generations to embrace a full and balanced life — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This year, the conference theme is JESUS.
Hosted by Tope Akinsiku, co-pastor of the House of Praise in Mississauga, Canada. Through its impactful teachings, soul-stirring worship, and practical strategies for achieving their dreams, BL has, for over a decade, been a catalyst for change, transformation, and inspiration to women and young ladies from around the world.
In 2023, BL launched its young adults' movement called THAT GRL, designed specifically for ladies ages 17-35.

THAT GRL is a global movement for young women aged 17-35, founded by Tope Akinsiku, fondly known as the OG THAT GRL in 2023. The first edition took place at BL'23 . Since then, THAT GRL has expanded across multiple cities, igniting a passion for Christ, building bold identities, and affirming God's love.
With various editions such as THAT GRL Christmas, THAT GRL Ottawa, THAT GRL Windsor, and THAT GRL Montreal, the movement continues to grow. The THAT GRL BL Edition serves as the annual gathering, bringing together young women from different cities for an unforgettable experience.
